If you go to the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens between now through March 7 you can see The Sculptures, Etching and Lithographs of Marino Marini.
Some history on the Modern Italian Master, Marino Marini is that he gained international renown in the 1950s with exhibitions in Amsterdam, Brussels, and New York. Marini’s Cavalli e cavalieri –Horse and Rider bronzes series is well represented along with rarely seen graphic works by this great artist.
This Italian sculptor, painter and graphic artist, Marino Marini enrolled at the 'Accademia di Belli Arti' in Florence, back in 1917.
Marini died on August 6, 1980 in Viareggio, Italy.
